Cablesys flat line cords are collected here, including a 7 foot 8P8C silver cord, a 25 foot 8P8C cord and 50 foot cords with 6P6C and 6P4C style ends.
Flat cords are a familiar fix for phone cabling, since they run under a desk or along a baseboard without bulk. People buy them to reach a wall jack from a desk phone, to extend a run or to replace a damaged cord. Match connector type and length before ordering, or call the KX-TD team at (866) 205-4112.

The numbers in 6P4C and 8P8C describe the plug. The first number is the positions in the plug and the second is the contacts in use. A 6P4C plug has 4 contacts, and an 8P8C plug has all 8. Match the code on your old cord.
Cablesys flat cords are listed in 7, 14, 25 and 50 foot lengths. Measure the route the cord will take, including the run along a wall or under a desk. Add some slack, but avoid very long cords since extra length can pick up noise.
Flat cords lie flat against a baseboard or wall, and they are common for voice lines. Cat5e and Cat6 data cables are round, so do not swap one for the other. Flat line cord is for phones and not for networks.
Modular plugs are listed in a 100 pack, flat stranded 6P4C. Installers use them to make a custom length cord. You will need a crimp tool, and the plug has to match the cord type. Test the finished cord before you install it.
No. Use a Cat5e or Cat6 cable for data. Line cords are made for voice.
Handset cords and line cords differ, so check your phone model, or contact us with it.
Run a string or tape from the phone to the wall jack along the path the cord will take, then add a little slack.
