EPYGI Technologies

Epygi VoIP communications appliances are listed in this category, including the QX50, QX200, QX500 and QX-0020. Each one is an IP phone system in a single box.

Small and mid-size businesses use them as an office phone system with SIP phones and outside lines, and installers replace units when an older appliance fails. Pick the model by user count. The KX-TD team can help with sizing and programming at (866) 205-4112.

Before you order

  • Pick by user count. Models run from the QX20 and QX50 up to the QX500, QX3000 and QX5000.
  • Check outside line needs. The system you pick must support the lines and trunks you use.
  • Plan your phones. Epygi systems use SIP phones, so confirm your current phones are compatible.
  • Not sure? Call (866) 205-4112 and give us your user count.

Epygi IP phone system buying guide

QX models

Epygi lists the QX20, QX50, QX60, QX100, QX200, QX500, QX3000 and QX5000, plus the QX-0020. They are VoIP communications appliances, so one box serves as a phone system. Larger numbers generally mean more capacity, so use the model number and your count of users as a starting point.

New and replacement units

Some listings are named VoIP communications appliance and others PBX. Many customers buy to replace a failed unit. If you are replacing one, send the model and software details so we can check that the same model or a close one fits.

Sizing and programming

Choose a model by user count, plus lines and features you need. Add spare capacity for growth. Programming ties together extensions, outside lines and voice mail, and that is the stage where mistakes happen, so plan it before the system goes live. Write down each extension, name and outside line, so the installer has a clear list to work from.

Network readiness

An IP phone system relies on your network. Check your switches and internet connection before you install. Phones that need PoE require a PoE switch or injectors, and call quality improves when voice traffic has a stable, well wired network.
