Steren cable and connector buying guide

Phone line cords

The 4C 7 foot ivory modular line cord connects a phone to a wall jack. The 6x6 flat stranded modular plug pack lets you make your own cords. Match the plug type and cord color to what you already have.

Network patch cable

The 50 foot grey molded Cat5E UTP patch cable connects computers, phones and network gear. Cat5E supports gigabit speeds. Measure the route before you order, and avoid cutting it, since it is molded. Check that the plugs and the wiring match the equipment you use.

Coax and audio

The 6 foot F to F white RG6 cable and F jack to F jack adapters in a 25 count pack are for coax connections. The 3 foot 3.5mm audio cable links audio equipment. Check the connector at both ends. We can help if you are unsure which end type you need.

Connector packs

The 3-port red connector is sold in a pack of 100, and plugs are packed in 100s. Buy packs if you build many cords or install a whole office. For a single repair, a ready made cord may be easier. Plan ahead if you buy in bulk.
