Bogen

Bogen wall baffle speakers are the focus of this category. Variants include a recessed baffle with a volume control, one with screw terminals, and baffle assemblies that include a 70 volt transformer.

They suit hallways, classrooms and shops where you need a flush mount speaker that blends into the wall and handles voice announcements. The built-in transformer lets one amplifier feed many speakers on a single line. Check the wattage tap before wiring. If you want help with a layout, call KX-TD at (866) 205-4112.

Before you order

  • Check the line voltage. Models such as the All Weather Speaker A2 are 70V, so match your amplifier and speaker taps.
  • Pick the mount. Ceiling, wall baffle, horn and amplified speakers use different mounts. Tile bridge rings, beam clamps and enclosures are sold separately.
  • Match wattage to the space. Horns here include 15 and 30 watt units, while a 5W self amplified 24 volt horn needs no separate amplifier.
  • Not sure? Tell us your room type and we will suggest a fit.

Bogen Paging and Intercom Speakers buying guide

Ceiling and wall speakers

Bogen ceiling speakers include the Orbit, 2x2 lay in models with a volume control, and an Easy Install speaker with a single tap. Wall baffle speakers come in walnut. Pick a ceiling model for offices and a wall model where the ceiling is hard to reach. Taps let you lower the power for a speaker in a quiet room.

Horns and weather resistant speakers

Horns carry sound across warehouses, yards and gyms. Listings include 15 and 30 watt horns, a wide dispersion reentrant horn and an all weather speaker. Beam clamps let horns mount to structural beams. Choose wattage by area size and noise. Outdoor and loud areas need a horn or weather rated speaker.

Mounting and powered options

Tile bridge supports and 5 packs make ceiling installs cleaner. Square metal enclosures with transformers and volume controls suit certain jobs. Amplified speakers with a fixed volume control and 24 volt self amplified horns work without a larger amplifier. Packs and pairs save time on larger jobs.

Before you order

Count your speakers and note the voltage, wattage and tap settings. Check the ceiling or wall material, then add the mounting parts you need. Confirm that your amplifier supports the load. If you are unsure, send us your paging layout and we will review it.

Common questions

What is a volume control on a speaker for?

It lets you set the level in one room without changing the whole zone.

Do I need an amplifier for every speaker?

Not for amplified models. Standard 70 volt speakers do need an amplifier, which you can find in the Bogen equipment category.

Only models rated for it, such as the All Weather Speaker. Check the product name and description.
