Wireless Networking

Wireless networking equipment is grouped here, mostly from Cambium Networks with one Ubiquiti item. Products include the ePMP Bridge in a Box UHD for 5 GHz, 60 GHz cnWave V3000 client node radios and antennas, mounting brackets and a cnMatrix rack mount kit.Network installers and businesses buy them to link buildings and extend networks without trenching cable. Call (866) 205-4112 for help planning a link.

Before you order

  • Plan the link. Point-to-point radios work in pairs and need a clear path between them, so check for buildings and trees before you order.
  • Check the frequency. Listed items cover 5 GHz and 60 GHz gear. Each needs matching radios on both ends.
  • Order the mounting parts. Brackets, rack kits and pole mounts are sold separately for some radios, so check what the unit includes.
  • Not sure? Send us the distance and sites and we will help plan the link.

Wireless networking buying guide

Point-to-point bridges

The ePMP Bridge in a Box UHD at 5 GHz is a kit for connecting two locations wirelessly. Radios usually need line of sight between them. Distance and obstacles affect performance, so measure the path and check the product page for the supported range before you buy.

60 GHz cnWave radios

The cnWave V3000 client node radio and client node antenna work in the 60 GHz band. This band is typically used for shorter links with high capacity. Confirm the radio and antenna are compatible with your base equipment before ordering.

Mounts and rack hardware

This category also lists a precision mounting bracket for cnWave V3000, a full-width cnMatrix rack mount kit and a wall or pole mount for the Ubiquiti NanoStation M at a 90 degree tilt. Match each mount to the exact model it lists.

Choosing between bands

The 5 GHz ePMP kit is a practical choice for sites with a clear path and moderate distance. The 60 GHz cnWave radios are meant for short, high capacity links. If you are not sure which band suits your site, send us the distance and what is in between.

Common questions

Do I need two radios?

A point-to-point link needs a radio at each end. A bridge kit is meant to supply the pair.

Can rain or fog affect the link?

Weather can affect wireless links, and 60 GHz is more sensitive than lower bands. Plan with some margin.

Can you help plan a link?

Yes. Use the quote page or call (866) 205-4112.
