Clocks

Wall clocks for institutions are listed here. Viking offers 12 inch and 16 inch analog clocks, while Valcom has 4 inch four and six digit IP PoE digital clocks and a 12 inch analog IP clock.

Schools, clinics and plants install synchronized clocks so every room shows the same time and class bells stay on schedule. PoE clocks need only a network cable for power and time. Pick analog for a classic look or digital for easy reading from a distance. Call KX-TD at (866) 205-4112.

Clock buying guide

Institutional clocks

Most clocks here are Valcom models for schools, clinics and plants, plus a few Viking, Clarity and Sonic Bomb items. Synchronized clocks keep every room on the same time. Pick a size by how far people stand from the wall. Larger faces and 4 inch digits read better at a distance.

IP PoE, wired and wireless

IP PoE clocks take power and time over a network cable, so you do not need a separate time wire. Wired clocks run on 24V, and a 2-wire headend clock driver package and a GPS master clock are listed for larger systems. Wireless clocks are also listed. Think about the building wiring you already have.

Alarm and bedside clocks

The category also holds Sonic Bomb alarm clocks such as the Sonic Bomb Jr, Sonic Boom Alarm and Bunker Bomb Alarm Clock. A Jensen dual alarm clock radio and a Wake Assure clock rated 85dB are listed as well. These suit people who sleep deeply or have trouble hearing a regular alarm. Check the features on each listing.

What does PoE mean?

It means power over Ethernet. One network cable carries data and power, so you need a PoE switch or injector.

Can I mount a clock on both sides of a wall?

Yes, double sided and double mount options are listed for some clocks. Check the listing.
