Vtech

VTech consumer phones are collected here for homes, home offices and very small shops. Choose a 3-handset DECT set, a two handset cordless phone, a 2-line cordless model or an accessory handset with caller ID and speaker.

These suit anyone who wants a simple cordless phone without a full business system, or who needs one more handset to cover a back room. Questions about which set fits your lines? The KX-TD team is ready at (866) 205-4112.

Before you order

  • Corded or cordless. Trimstyle models are corded, while the DECT and cordless sets are wireless.
  • Count lines and handsets. The list includes a 2-line cordless, 2 and 3 handset sets, and accessory handsets.
  • Check the accessory model. Accessory handsets name the series they fit, such as CS65xx and CS66xx, or the DS6151 handset.
  • Not sure? Call (866) 205-4112 and tell us your line setup.

VTech phone buying guide

Corded, cordless and DECT

VTech here includes a Trimstyle corded phone with caller ID, cordless phones with caller ID and call waiting, and DECT sets with 3 handsets or a speakerphone. Corded phones keep working in a power cut on many lines. Cordless and DECT phones need a power outlet at the base.

Answering systems and ITAD

Some models have a built in answering system, and others are listed as CID or ITAD. Decide whether you want the phone to take messages, or whether voice mail from your carrier is enough. If you use internet phone service, call us to confirm the model suits it.

Accessory handsets

Add handsets to an existing set to cover a back room. Match the series, such as CS65xx or CS66xx, or the DS6151 base. A handset for a different series will not register with your base, so check the model before you order.

Placement and power

Put the base near a power outlet and a phone jack, and place accessory handsets where you need coverage. DECT phones work within a limited range that depends on your building. Charge new handsets before first use, and keep the manual handy for setup steps such as registering a handset.
