EnGenius

EnGenius SIP cordless systems are grouped here, including the DuraFon SIP cordless phone system, a base unit only for DuraFon SIP, a DuraFon SIP handset with charger and a Long-Range Roam full-featured handset.

Warehouses, hospitals and large facilities use them to give staff a cordless phone that works across a wide area with a SIP provider. Buy extra handsets as headcount grows. Need help planning how many to deploy? Call the KX-TD team at (866) 205-4112.

Before you order

  • Match handsets to the base. DuraFon SIP handsets pair with DuraFon SIP bases, and Long-Range Roam handsets pair with Roam bases.
  • Confirm your SIP service. These systems register with a SIP provider or phone system, so check that yours supports SIP extensions.
  • Plan for coverage. Building size and construction affect range, so map where staff work before you decide how many base units you need.
  • Not sure? Send us your floor plan and head count and we will help plan the deployment.

EnGenius cordless buying guide

DuraFon SIP and Long-Range Roam

This category lists two families. DuraFon SIP is a cordless system with a base unit and handsets that use a SIP provider. Long-Range Roam adds a base station controller, base units and a full-featured handset for larger sites. Keep each family together, because handsets and bases are not mixed across families.

Complete system or add-ons

If you are starting fresh, the DuraFon SIP cordless phone system gives you the pieces to begin. If you already own a system, you can buy a base unit only or an extra handset with charger. Roam handsets and base units are listed separately for expansion.

Plan your coverage

Cordless range depends on walls, equipment and layout. A site walk with a test handset shows where signal drops. Add base units where coverage is weak, and order extra handsets as staff numbers grow. A mix of handset types is not supported across families.

Handsets and chargers

Each handset needs power and a charger. The DuraFon SIP handset is listed with a charger. Plan one handset for each person who needs to move around, and keep a spare for repairs. Ask us about spare chargers too. Spare chargers are also useful.

Common questions

Can I add handsets later?

Yes. Handsets are listed separately, so you can buy more as your team grows. Match the handset to your base family.

Do these need a SIP provider?

They connect through SIP, so you need a provider or SIP phone system that accepts extensions. Check with yours before ordering.

Can you help plan how many units I need?

Yes. Send details through our quote page or call (866) 205-4112.
