Matrix ComSec

Matrix ComSec gateways are collected in this category. Choose a 3G 1 port GSM gateway, a 3G 4 port GSM-VoIP gateway, a VoIP-PRI gateway or a 32-VoIP 32-FXO gateway.

Buyers use GSM gateways to add a cellular line to an office phone system where no landline is available, and PRI and FXO models tie older systems to a SIP network. They help with backup lines too. Call the KX-TD team at (866) 205-4112 to match a gateway to your system.

Before you order

  • Pick the interface. FXS ports connect analog phones, FXO ports connect to phone lines, and PRI ties a digital circuit to SIP.
  • Count your ports. Models are listed with 4, 8, 24 and 32 ports, so match the number of lines or phones.
  • GSM for cellular lines. The 3G 1 port and 4 port GSM gateways need a SIM and local cellular coverage.
  • Not sure? Send your phone system model and we will help choose.

Matrix ComSec gateway buying guide

FXS and FXO gateways

An FXS gateway connects analog phones, fax machines or an analog extension to a VoIP network. An FXO gateway connects an existing phone line or a PBX extension port to VoIP. Matrix lists 4, 8, 24 and 32 port versions of each, so count the devices or lines first.

GSM gateways

A GSM gateway lets a phone system place and take calls over a cellular network. The 3G 1 port model suits a single line, and the 4 port GSM-VoIP model gives four. They need a SIM card and good cellular signal where you mount them. They can also serve as a backup line.

PRI gateways

The VoIP-PRI gateway connects a PRI digital circuit to a SIP network, or can tie an older PBX to VoIP. Check the number of channels your carrier provides and the signaling your phone system uses before you order. We can help you check that your phone system supports the signaling.

Check your system

Before you buy any gateway, note the make of your phone system and the type of ports available. Our technical support team can help match the interface to your needs. Tell us what you want to connect and how many lines or phones are involved.
