VALCOM

Valcom paging systems depend on clean power, and this category covers it. Listings include 24 volt DC switching supplies, a 6 amp model, wall or rack mount 600 mA supplies, battery back-up and a shelf for dual switching power supplies.

Installers use these to power Valcom paging amplifiers and talkback zones, or to add battery protection so announcements still work in an outage. Add up the current draw of all devices on the line before you pick a size. Call KX-TD at (866) 205-4112 and we will help.

Before you order

  • Count zones. Page controls here come in 6 zone one way and 6 zone talkback versions, so count the areas you need.
  • Check the model of your system. Remote mics, cable adapters and power supplies are made for specific Valcom units, such as the V-9933A or 2924.
  • Size the power supply. Switching supplies are listed at 6 amp 24 vdc and 12 amp, so check your load.
  • Not sure? Send us your Valcom model number and we will match the part.

VALCOM Paging and Intercom Equipment buying guide

Controls, zones and call switches

Page controls here include 6 zone one way and 6 zone talkback models. A 24 zone intercom with clock sync is also listed. Call in and emergency call switches, door answer devices for 4 doors, and a CB paging microphone round out the ways to start a page or call. Zone and talkback choices change how the system is wired.

Mixers, transformers and adapters

An in wall modular mixer sets audio levels. Matching transformers connect line inputs. A RingCentral paging adaptor links paging to a hosted phone system, and a 24 station 2924 cable adapter ties in a larger system. Check the system model before ordering any adapter. Mixers and transformers are sized to specific inputs.

Power and clocks

Switching power supplies in 6 amp 24 vdc and 12 amp sizes power controllers and modules. A wireless master clock repeater supports clock systems. Doorbox weather guards in yellow protect door units from the weather where needed. Plan for extra power if you expand.

Before you order

Find the model number on your existing Valcom unit. Check the zone count, the power rating and the connector type. Then match new parts to those details. If you are adding a RingCentral adaptor or door device, confirm your phone system supports it. We can help with a call to (866) 205-4112.
